A basic overview of what I will be doing. I will upload the itinerary hopefully in Rome when I can get a handle on it. The purposes of my trip are as follows:
1. Personal Challenge
2. Understanding the role of these particular post-Soviet states in international affairs
3. Learn about their economies, in particular rail and transportation networks.
The purpose of this blog is to document this experience, and the reason it is publicly available is to serve as a guide for others wishing to undertake a similar journey. I hope to have enough time to improve the aesthetics and add as much detail as possible, but that remains to be seen. There is no wi-fi on the plane which will destroy my productivity.
